Your Drive, Not Ours
Files go directly from WhatsApp into the Google Drive account you authorised — we never keep a copy. The connection is per-license, so each subscription points at exactly one Drive at a time.
Smart Folders and Names
For every file, your instruction and message note determine a folder path (e.g. Invoices/Vendor X) and file name. Nested folders are created on the fly.
Customisable AI Instructions
Send wdsysprompt to see the current AI instructions, or wdsyspromptup <your instructions> to rewrite them.
Pick Your Root Folder
Choose where the archive should start in your own Drive. WhatsAppDrive AI saves future uploads from that chat under the selected folder, keeping personal and group archives easy to find.
Per-Chat Subscriptions
One subscription binds to one WhatsApp chat at a time, whether it is a direct conversation or a group. Move a license to another chat with wdclaim unlink followed by a fresh wdclaim there. Your Drive connection moves with the license.
Built-In Rate Limiting
Each connected chat is rate-limited to prevent spam and to stay within the AI model's quotas. Sustained bursts are politely rejected with a retry-after message rather than silently dropped.
