User guide
Everything starts and runs inside WhatsApp. There is no separate app to install and no dashboard to log into. Send wdbuy first, then manage the entire service through a handful of keywords.
Start in WhatsApp
Message wdbuy to WhatsAppDrive AI. The bot sends the subscription link, license portal, and exact setup steps. This keeps the whole onboarding inside WhatsApp, where the product actually lives.
Use It One-on-One or in a Group
After subscribing, continue in your direct chat with WhatsAppDrive AI or add the number to a WhatsApp group you want to archive. Send wdclaim <your-key> in that chat to bind the license there.
Connect, Set Root, AI Instructions
Send wdconnect to connect Google Drive, use wdroot to choose the root folder, verify access with wdaccess, then review or update AI instructions with wdsysprompt and wdsyspromptup.

Bind your license to this direct chat or group.
wdclaim unlink
Unlink the license before moving it to another chat.
wdconnect
Open the Google consent link to connect your Drive.
wdconnect unlink
Disconnect Google Drive from your license.
wdroot
Choose your archive root folder with Google Picker.
wdaccess
Select existing folders and files in Google Picker to grant access. For nested archives, select the parent folders along the path too.
wdload
Reply to a file with wdload and an optional note. AI proposes its folder and name; the service uploads it to your Drive and sends a confirmation.
wdlang
Choose the language of the bot replies.
wdsysprompt
Read your current AI archiving instructions.
wdsyspromptup <instructions>
Update your AI archiving instructions.
wdhelp
List the available commands.
Your Drive, Not Ours
Files go directly from WhatsApp into the Google Drive account you authorised — we never keep a copy. The connection is per-license, so each subscription points at exactly one Drive at a time.
Smart Folders and Names
For every file, your instruction and message note determine a folder path (e.g. Invoices/Vendor X) and file name. Nested folders are created on the fly.
Customisable AI Instructions
Send wdsysprompt to see the current AI instructions, or wdsyspromptup <your instructions> to rewrite them.
Pick Your Root Folder
Choose where the archive should start in your own Drive. WhatsAppDrive AI saves future uploads from that chat under the selected folder, keeping personal and group archives easy to find.
Per-Chat Subscriptions
One subscription binds to one WhatsApp chat at a time, whether it is a direct conversation or a group. Move a license to another chat with wdclaim unlink followed by a fresh wdclaim there. Your Drive connection moves with the license.
Built-In Rate Limiting
Each connected chat is rate-limited to prevent spam and to stay within the AI model's quotas. Sustained bursts are politely rejected with a retry-after message rather than silently dropped.
